THE BRITISH BORN TO BE AMERICAN COUTURIER | AMERICAN DESIGNER | CHARLES JAMES | THE STORY

America's First Couturier | Charles James

I used to be in love with the magazine but still can't say that I am not in love with magazine anymore but I just don't like them for a while.I still do buy them and get through each page but I just don't read those content anymore.Because I have an affair with Instagram. The easiest way to see the world with wonderful accounts and filters they chose. But just the storm came in and I sitting down and see the giant mountain of magazines I owned I start to read them again and found the short amazing story of Charles James and the exhibition of his works at Metropolitan Museum of Art in August this year (2014). His story quiets predictable for me but yet very interesting. He seems to be very tough, inscrutable ,and such a perfectionist obviously. But his works are worth it. The way he cares about his art pieces is beyond anything. He seems to care less about the relationship with humans but when it comes to his work he is the perfect partner anyone in this world could ask for. I totally admire him for that reason. At the end of his life is not very glorious living but he became well known once again just exactly like J. Gatsby in 'The Great Gatsby' be like.
